Bouquet to the all the Grandparents. Grandmas and Grandpas, Nanas and Pops, all caring and loving their grandchildren during the week in the playgrounds, parks and beaches around Manly.

Brickbat to Council for not prioritising the resurfacing of the section of the Manly to Shelly walkway from the shed to Bower Lane. How many times do we have to report this trip hazards.

Bouquet to Council for committing to a Feasibility Study on the proposal for the Manly Town Hall to become a theatre. This Study will commence in July and take 9 months. Funding for the study will be available in the 2023/24 Budget.

Brickbat to car owners for the 51% of all complaints about parking and to dog owners for causing 10% of the total number of complaints to Council in the last year. Car and dog owners need to lift their game. Council receives and acts on 20,000 complaints per year. The remainder of complaints received were about litter, dumped rubbish, environmental health, including unhealthy premises and building or DA compliance issues.

Bouquet to Kandy, the Secretary of the Manly Community Forum for organising the Christmas in July meeting with fabulous Christmas decorations and catering. Thanks also to the community members who attended and thanks for their generous donations to Community Northern Beaches.
