Brickbat to Department of Primary Industries-Fisheries and Council for removing the large interpretative Cabbage Tree Bay Aquatic Reserve Signs before agreement has been reached about a replacement. Discussions regarding these signs and what they should look like has been going on for at least 4 years. Make a decision and get them back up ASAP. Feedback from the public is that these signs are very popular.

Bouquet to Community Northern Beaches for their very extensive outreach programs. Donations of non perishable items, soap, tampons, toothpaste and toothbrushes etc as well as packaged food are gratefully received. They can be dropped off at the Centre in Raglan St.

Brickbat to Councillors for not making it through their Council Meeting Agenda at the August meeting. So many important items not discussed because of time wasting points of order and discussion by a few.

Bouquet to the organisers of Night at the Barracks for persisting with the extensive bureaucracy to again deliver an excellent program of live music at North Head 15 September to 8 October 2023 Book online for the few remaining tickets.

Bouquet to the Q Station for their fabulous Spring Open Day. If you didn’t make it then you can always catch the bus up there and check out the cafe at the wharf any time.

Brickbat to the dog owners who persist in walking their dogs on the beaches contrary to the signs.

Bouquet to Council for the Manly Jazz Festival. 46 years and still going strong.
