Echidna survey update

Since September last year the team at the North Head Sanctuary Foundation have received over 60 photos of echidnas on North Head and surrounds, including from central Eastern Hill, Shelly headland and Little Manly. Whilst there are not 60 individual echidnas, a picture is emerging of the animals, some very young, and their patterns of movement around the area. Keep sending your photos to twswombat@iinet.net.au as the team is continuing to collect information over the next 8 months with the results to be analysed and published later this year.
