Bouquet to the Manly Community and businesses for their support of the Northern Beaches Women’s Shelter at their 15th Anniversary Crystal Ball Gala. They exceeded their fundraising goal.

Brickbat to Manly Life Saving Club for taking up so much public open space on South Steyne with their three trailers and surf boat. surfcrafteverywhere

Bouquet to the volunteer Bushcare team who have successfully removed thousands of weeds from the National Park at North Head over the past few months.

Brickbat to Council for letting the Manly Ocean Beachfront look tired, worn and unloved. Poor landscaping, broken and unused bikes left for ages in the bike racks, broken paving stones around the heritage Norfolk Pines, mud puddles where grass once was, filthy bins, unclean and unhygienic water fountains, crappy and missing signs, rusty light poles, badly maintained buildings, including The Council owned building occupied by the Pantry on the beachfront, which needs a good clean and paint as well as some signs for the toilets.
