The Sydney Wattle is just starting to bud and this signals the start the whales’ northerly migration season. Earlier this month locals on their early morning walk to Peace Park and around Little Manly Point saw the first whale for the season in the harbour, swimming across Little Manly Cove to Spring Cove around the boats and all the way to Jump Rock before heading out the Heads via Quarantine Station beach and around Canae Point.
